The Art of Collaboration
I am neither a Company Man nor a Specialist. Through reliable bursts of inspiration I employ skills that span engineering, nature, design, taste, and more. I'm about the total package.
I'm pulled to create things that are structurally sound ... outside of any niche, and beyond what they call industry.
Now ... there is an art to Collaboration, to join forces in a fashion that retains quality.
When a person has mastered the ability to work independently, they become available to the possibility of building, with another, something effective. It is a setup in which both parties can truly benefit.
Who is doing genuinely interesting and unique work? They are out there, albeit in small numbers. The kind of work that makes one lose track of time. Time, in this case, has not only been not wasted ... but it has been created out of thin air and in the palm of their hand.
There is fire in passion, but some fires burn out. What lasts is a personal world, but one of elegance and structural integrity. The Fire then burns, but quietly in the background and ... sustainably ... it gives spark to everything that is of utmost importance.
Most partnerships fail ... or worse ... they fizzle slowly over time. Or even worse, they remain in tact through deceit. People become burdens on one another.
A solid partnership can last forever, or it can eventually terminate and be great while it lasted. Either is fine depending on what the situation calls for. A crystal-clear vision and plan of execution ... with honesty and practicality at the forefront of communication.
No one can understand the totality of what you are building, except you. But there are times when even you don't understand it. But I vibe with the magnetic and energetic core of the vision, because I see parallels to it and PerillaCove. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
I've said before that making money is easy, but making money while having fun is the code to be cracked. I'm not a "sales guy" and never have been. There is no shortage of people lining up at your door with the promise of making your numbers go higher and higher. In everything I've ever built, whether for myself or for another, I've never approached it from that angle. It just doesn't move me.
Money, for me, tends to arrive as the fruit of constructing an integrated system that solves multiple so-called problems at once. Actually those were never problems to begin with it; they only came to be, because of the culture we've created of putting out fires.
I believe in extracting the essence, in seeing the invariant ... and then clarifying and unifying its expression. PerillaCove has an outlet for every domain.
There are times where you are on the cusp of an inevitable idea ... and it needed nothing bigger than a seed, or a whistle, or a breeze to become the next Fire that sustains you. Other times the cash is already flowing like Water and it simply needs a few rocks cleared to flow with the vigour you've felt was at least reasonable.
The ideas I keep returning to, the ideas I put forward, they remain open because I've come to find they are timeless.
Fast forward to today; AI is here with all of its cutting-edge tech. The irony is that an individual is ever more so on the brink of owning the timeless. White collar work isn't real, blue collar work is for robots, and as for you ... you are now in a position where you are forced to do everything you have ever wanted.
